Teddy Bear Drive
The Core Financial Group is hosting a teddy bear drive for the California Highway Patrol. The CHP Officers keep teddy bears on hand to give to children in traumatic situations.
If you would like to participate, please bring a NEW teddy bear(s) to Core Financial from now until December 13th. Drop off donations at their office, 1215 Plumas Street Suite 1500. For more information call 530-751-9525.

Canned Food Drive
Union Gospel Mission provides meals to hungry men, women and children all year long. During the holidays they give away holiday food boxes with all the trimmings--100 Thanksgiving boxes, 100 Christmas boxes and in the spring, 100 Easter boxes. They are open for drop-off donations seven days a week, 8 am - 8 pm at 400 Bannon St., Sacramento, CA. See the list of needed items here.
Union Gospel Mission provides resources for the homeless, a men's rehabilitation program, and they have established a Women's Clothes Closet. Along with food donations they also welcome clothing donations and volunteers.
If you'd like to contribute to either organization you can also drop off donations at the Adept Solutions office located at 990 Klamath Lane, Ste 6, Yuba City.
